Of course, racing would not exist as we know it without those sponsorships. Racing costs money, lots of it. Even running a relatively inexpensive class like mini-stocks can cost $10,000 per season or more. This is why a good sponsor can be such a good teammate. The team can help a sponsor bring in more business in return for the sponsor's contributions.
Every time a car is on the track the sponsors are announced to the crowd. The E.L.T. team will have a sponsor board in the pit area. All sponsors receive advertising space on the CowCar web site (www.cowcarracing.com). For major sponsors we will perform public appearances with car and driver. A racecar will draw a crowd within minutes. Having YOUR name on that car is not only a great way to advertise, but a whole lot of fun as well. Each sponsor will also receive an 8"X10" photo suitable to hang in your home or office.
